For the beginner we offer our surf camp where you will learn surfing fundamentals with an emphasis on Ocean safety, while having fun in the Sun. With our professional instructors, we will have you riding waves in no time. Our small instructor to student ratio will insure you receive maximum instruction to speed your progress as a surfer.
Roberto Sibaja is a founding member of Costa Rica Surf Adventures and is director of Costa Rican operations. He is a local Costa Rican that has been in the surf tour business for over 10 years. Roberto is well know and respected in the Costa Rica surf community. His knowledge of surfing in Costa Rica is what sets our company apart from every other surf tour company. He has dedicated his life to surfing and has turned that passion into creating the ultimate surf tour company in Costa Rica. He knows what surfers are looking for when visiting Costa Rica and he delivers. Roberto has staffed our company with experienced Costa Rican surf guides and instructors which he has personally hand picked. Roberto feels that a company is only as good as it's people and CRSA and it's personnel are totally dedicated to providing the best surf experience in Costa Rica.
Gary Woerner is also a founding member of Costa Rica Surf Adventures and is director of U.S. operations. Gary has been traveling to Costa Rica for the past 8 years and owns and operates several business in both the United States and Costa Rica. Both Gary and Roberto realized that Costa Rica was lacking a first rate surf tour company, so together they created Costa Rica Surf Adventures a surf tour company like no other in Costa Rica. I feel we created the premiere surf tour company in Costa Rica. No one can match our accommodations, top rated equipment, or professional staff. Our only goal is to provide the best possible surf adventure and share it with fellow surfers'.
Bob McClay is director of marketing and tour operations. He is extremely familiar with Costa Rica surfing. He began surfing over thirty years ago. In 1989 Bob was fortunate enough to discover Costa Rica while touring the Pacific coast looking for the perfect wave. The beautiful country, wonderful people, excellent waves, and pristine conditions created the ingredients for what he found to be a superb place to vacation and retire. With water temperatures in the high 70's to low 80's, abundant sea life, and a lush tropical backdrop, Bob knew the Costa Rica surf scene was the perfect story that had to be told.
